When narrow trenches need to be dug, the chain trencher that attaches to an Avant loader is an extremely practical solution. It leaves the ground around the trench virtually untouched and cuts the soil so precisely that refilling the trench later with a bucket or blade is effortless. A hydraulic motor combined with a planetary gearbox gives the attachment reliability and ample power.
Trench depth reaches up to 1200 millimetres. Because the chains are fitted with hard-wearing tungsten teeth, they resist wear well and cope easily with any type of ground.
