The Avant stump grapple is an excellent tool for lifting and moving timber and all kinds of other debris. In design it resembles a demolition bucket, sharing the same upper gripping mechanism, but the base of the grapple is built from heavy steel tines.
This design is exceptionally practical in use, because the strong tines grip branches, tree trunks and stones firmly, while loose soil and fine debris fall back through the gaps. As a result the timber being moved stays cleaner, which is critical when the material is later fed into a chipper. Thanks to its robust construction, the attachment is also well suited to prising stumps and roots straight out of the ground.
Reliability in harsh conditions has been considered as well – all hydraulic cylinders and hoses are protected by durable metal covers to prevent damage. This makes the attachment a very versatile and dependable helper for all kinds of clearing and groundwork.
